About
This website shows you how written words might look to someone experiencing schizophrenia, using research-based patterns to transform what you type.
Visual Effects
Your text passes through three phases that reflect common perceptual experiences in schizophrenia. It starts with subtle distortions and blurring, making words harder to read. The second phase intensifies, introducing flashing elements and intrusive thoughts that compete for attention. Finally, in the remission phase, the effects gradually fade as the text returns to a calmer, though still slightly blurred state.
